The development efforts started in the mid 80's, when Dr. Wolff
conducted research projects on xerostomia, first at the National
Institutes of Health (Washington, USA) and later at Tel Aviv
University. In parallel, Eng. Beiski led multi-disciplinary R&D
projects on medical devices. The expertise of Wolff and Beiski
combined in the joint research work aimed at developing a new
concept to treat dry mouth. From year 2002, Wolff and Beiski led
a R&D project, funded by the European Commission.
Collaborators of this project were top-of-its-class institutions
from several European countries and Israel.
